After combining in 1977 a Bachelor's in Architecture with a Master's in Business Administration from the California
Polytechnic State University, Pomona, Dorian Johnson began an extensive and varied career in the field of real
estate development.
For the past two decades Dorian has operated in planning, analyzing, negotiating, acquiring and completing realty
opportunities with six other development corporations before joining with Wesco Companies. At the previous four
corporations he functioned as Vice President of Planning, handling demands concerning financial and marketing logistics,
sustaining liaison work with city, governmental and environmental agencies and also securing land entitlements and
acquisitions. Dorian's planning and strategizing abilities has lent to the securing of municipal financing funds upwards
of $100 million, the development of over 6,000 homes, the sale of 1,500 land lots, the acquisition of over 5,000 lots for
development and the construction of 3 golf course communities in southern California. Establishing residential units in
several cities, Dorian has worked in development from Oceanside to Arizona.
Dorian Johnson is professionally licensed as a real estate broker, architect and general contractor in California. He is
also former President of the Riverside Chapter of the Building Industry Association. Teaming with Wesco Companies, Dorian hopes to continue to maximize off of his previous experiences with real estate development while also continuing to grow
as a professional member within the field.
