Colich Construction is seeking a highly professional, motivated and organized Project Manager who will be responsible for the overall execution and administrative contract requirements for underground construction contracts. UNDERGROUND SEWER / PIPELINE EXPERIENCE REQUIRED.
what you will do:
Manage $5-$40 million underground projects. Work with a company that competes with the "big boys" yet allows you to make a significant impact in a team-driven, family type of environment.
Plan, monitor and control the project throughout its lifecycle by doing the following:
- Create workflow analysis, cost projections, budget analysis.
- Supervise, schedule and coordinate work activities
- Coordinate and oversee all subcontract work
- Consult with Superintendent, Estimator and President in preparation of subcontracts and purchase orders.
- Identify, prepare and follow up on Agency submittals.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO THE TABLE :
- Motivated leader with 5+ years experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry.
- Experience in underground sewer / pipeline required.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
- Ability to communicate clearly with top-level executives, Superintendent, Scheduler, Agencies, subcontractors and vendors.
- Excellent motivator.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential materials.
- Ability to travel in and around the Los Angeles area and work in the field for prolonged periods.
- Knowledge of Primavera, Hard Dollar, Timberline or AutoCAD is a plus.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other basic computer skills.
