Wesco Properties, our very successful residential property management company, seeks a SERVICE MANAGER for a 344 unit luxury apartment community located in Irving, TX. The successful candidate will be responsible for unit maintenance, common area maintenance and the supervision of maintenance, housekeeping and grounds keeping staff. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the physical aspects of the property meet the company’s established standards; providing direct management of the on-site maintenance staff in the diagnosis of problems and repairs in areas such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, pool, carpentry, dry walling, exterior structural and appliance; purchasing all maintenance supplies; rectifying all emergency repairs; performing preventative maintenance as needed on roofs, air conditioners, boilers, hot water heaters, etc.; scheduling all turnover maintenance; monitoring vendor performance; hiring, supervising and scheduling outside contractors; other duties as required.
To qualify, you must have 5+ years experience in the role of a maintenance working manager; HVAC, EPA or Universal certification, the ability to work overtime as required; the availability to share call-out rotation.
